1. Delhi – Manali

Keep in mind: The road from Mandi till Manali is narrow and busy. So, there are high chances that you will be met with heavy jam on the road. It is advisable to start your road trip from Delhi as early as possible to avoid any delay on your road trip

2. Chandigarh – Shimla

Keep in mind: There is always some kind of construction happening on NH5 which leads to jams. You would also need a pollution certificate before you cross the borders of Himachal Pradesh if you are not the state resident.

Keep in mind: Avoid the highway in the night since it is a remote area. There are tolls on NH9 and NH 52. You can take a detour to Salasar Temple where the famous Hanuman Temple is located.

Keep in mind: There are two tolls on the highway. Don’t forget to explore the nearby handicraft villages.

5. Yamuna Expressway

Keep in mind: However, if it feels to hectic, you can spend a night in Vrindavan or Agra and head back to home the next morning.

6. Golden Triangle (Delhi – Agra – Jaipur)

Keep in mind: The best time to cover this circuit is during winters or monsoon when the climate is nice and balmy.
